So what has everyone planned to keep busy this summer? I think I have a calendar full already (made the mistake of not making long range plans last year).

In April we have a wedding in West Virginia (the spousal unit's cousin is tying the knot) so we're heading to banjo country for a little R&R. Hopefully her brother and I don't get in too much trouble (like the last wedding we all attended, hehe).

In May we have the Music As A Weapon tour coming this way (Disturbed, Killswitch Engage, Lacuna Coil, and Chimera). Our little ocal stadium is going to come apart with all that sound, lol, should be a good time.

June and July look like all work and no fun (booo, hiss) but it's usually to damn hot to have any fun then anyway (getting old and fat will do that to you).

August brings Gen Con 2009 (yay), last year was a lot of fun so we're going to do 3 days this year. Hope to get some gaming in this time (last year was all about the shopping portion of the convention). Tara is humoring me and going with again so we're on the lookout for things that she might enjoy or at least not be bored out of her skull with.

That's all I can think of at the moment but I'm sure something else will pop up, probably during one of those damn hot months .
